The Receiver

The receiver is connected to the power supply and switched on at the switch. When a birth is imminent, the transmitter sends an audible and visible (the respective LED lights up) alarm.

The front side contains the on/off switch, the green operating light, the yellow "empty battery" indicator and the red birth warning.

Even the slightest moisture, not yet visible on the surface of the coat of hair, is measurable and results in an alarm. False alarms due to external radio interference are to a large extent impossible thanks to the three-tone coding. The unit has a range of approx. 200 metres.

The automatic telephone dialer or the GSM module enable an unlimited range. In an alarm situation another telephone of your choosing will be dialled via a telephone network or mobile phone network.

Even simultaneous monitoring of multiple mares requires only one receiver.
