The Hay Soaker

Lasting treatment success for chronically ill horses can be achieved only when the horse can be kept in a low-dust environment. It also helps to feed the horse with hay that has been moistened. The hay soaker has proven itself an effective aid.

It consists of one water basin and one immersion basin. The durable plastic basins have a capacity of approx. 40 litres.

Fill the perforated immersion basin with the desired amount of hay and immerse in the water basin. Using a pitchfork or similar, submerge the hay under the water. After submerging the hay in water simply rotate the perforated immersion basin by 180 degrees to drain residual water into the water basin.
